The Firestone valve eliminates the need for a second tube. Simply connect one 10mm O.D. arm to vacuum, other to gas source, and, by a half-turn of the stopcock plug, alternate between vacuum and gas. Shut-off float on gas side of valve prevents pressure build-up when system is purged. Plugs are PTFE with UHDPE handles and PTFE O-rings. |
