一般描述

Silychristin is one of the congeners of flavonolignan silybin. It is usually derived from silymarin, which is extracted from the fruits ofSilybum marianum(L.) Gaertn, and Asteraceae (Carduus marianusL.; milk thistle).

应用

Silychristin may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of silychristin in:

• Herbal extracts, fruit extracts, and seed extracts ofSilybum marianumby ultra-high performance liquid chromatography with diode array detection (UHPLC-DAD) and methanol extraction coupled to HPLC equipped with ultraviolet array detection (UVAD).
• Milk thistle seeds by HPLC-UV.
