Hederacoside C is a major bioactive constituent isolated fromHedera helixL. It exhibits pharmacological properties such as antibacterial, expectorant, bronchodilator and bronchospasmolytic effects. It is widely used in the treatment of respiratory disorders involving acute respiratory infections, chronic inflammatory bronchitis and productive coughs.

应用

Hederacoside C may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in Ivy leaf extract using different chromatography techniques.
