生化/生理作用

ZNF418 is a transcription factor characterized by the presence of Krüppel-associated boxes or KRAB domain. Zinc finger proteins have diverse functions that include activation of transcription, regulation of apoptosis, protein folding, RNA packaging and lipid binding. ZNF418 is highly expressed in human heart and acts as a negative regulator of MAPK signaling.
