生化/生理作用
CREBZF is a transcription factor belonging to the ATF/CREB family that exists as long isoform (SMILE) and the short isoform (Zhangfei or ZF). SMILE is significantly expressed in the mouse uterus during embryo implantation. CREBZF lacks the DNA binding ability and interacts with factors such as VP16 to regulate the downstream genes. It also interacts with p53 and modulates its tumor suppressor function.
