Fluorogenic substrate for isoenzyme A of N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase (hexosaminidase A). Can be used for the prenatal diagnosis of Tay-Sachs disease and for the classification of GM2gangliosidosis genotypes. Excitation maximum: ~360 nm; emission maximum: ~440 nm.
