Potent and specific inhibitor of multiple ubiquitin hydrolases involved in pathways of intracellular protein modification and turnover. Useful for stabilizing endogenous orin vitrosynthesized ubiquitin-protein conjugates. May also be used to enhance or decrease the rates of ubiquitin-dependent degradation.
