生化/生理作用
Membrane boundO-acyltransferase domain containing 7 (MBOAT7) or LENG4 is an integral membrane protein important for reacylation of phospholipids. LENG4 is highly specific for arachidonoyl-coenzyme A and is involved in arachidonate recycling. It interacts with the small subunit of serine palmitoyltransferase a (ssSPTa). This interaction is important for LENG4-dependent incorporation of arachidonic acid into phosphatidylinositol.
