Linker for activation of T cells (LAT) is a transmembrane adaptor molecule. It is located on human chromosome 16p11.2. LAT is present in activated T cells.

Linker for activation of T cells (LAT) indicates an important role of immune molecules in the growing brain. This molecule also helps in the development, activation and maintenance of T cells. Mutations in LAT result in severe combined immunodeficiency. It also act as a bridge between T cell-specific and general signaling pathways.
