生化/生理作用
CTIF (CBP80/20-dependent translation initiation factor) is mainly involved in the cap-binding complex (CBC) mediated mRNA translation. It regulates the post-transcriptional gene expressions. The translation initiation factor, CTIF forms a complex with eIF3 and eIF4AIII by interacting with the cap-binding protein 80 (CBP80) during CBP80/20-dependent translation. It can also conjugates with the EJC-bound CT initiation complex.
