特异性

Mouse mTNF-α is effective on mouse, rat, rabbit, and human cells.
Specific activity/EC₅₀:>4 x 108 U/mg, <0.0025 ng/ml (mTNF-a, NIBSC, interim standard, 88/532), at least the same specific activity (EC₅₀) compared to the indicated standard is guaranteed.

应用

TNF-α causes selective necrosis of murine tumors when injected into tumor-bearing mice.In vitro,human TNF-α has direct cytolytic or cytostatic activity on certain transformed cells. In this context, it acts synergistically with interferon-γ. It has also been used for cell stimulation studies.
