一般描述

PRONASE^?Protease,Streptomyces griseus, nuclease-free is a non-specific protease that liquefies mucins and digests proteins to free amino acids. This mixture can be used to isolate living chondrocytes. It is most active at pH 7.0 but stable over wide ranges of pH and temperature. It has an optimal pH of 7.5. Pronase is less cytotoxic and produces more efficient dissociation than collagenase.

Proteases catalyze the hydrolysis of proteins to form peptides and free amino acids. They also regulate the breakdown of fats and carbohydrates through many enzymatic cascades and activating proenzyme zymogens.
