一般描述
A cell-permeable and selective inhibitor of the phosphatase complexes that dephosphorylate eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2 subunit α (eIF-2α). Shown to offer protection against ER stress-induced apoptosis (EC50~15 ?M in PC12 cells stimulated with 750 ng/ml of Tunicamycin (Cat. No. 654380)). Prevents HSV replication both in Vero cells (IC50~3 ?M for reducing plaque formation)in vitroand in a mouse cornea infection modelin vivo.
