Oestrogen receptor T47DS2 cells express ER alpha and progesterone receptor.

T47D/S2 cells have been established by reduction of the serum concentration to 2% fetal calf serum, in order to enable growth inhibition with tamoxifen. The T47D/S2 Cell line is the control cell line for the tamoxifen resistant T47D/TR-1 and T47D/TR-2 lines.

RPMI 1640 w/o Phenol Red (R7509) + 2% FBS (F2442) + 2.5 mM Ala-Gln (G8541) + 8μg/ml Insulin (I9278)

传代培养常规

Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:3 to 1:6 i.e. seeding at 2-4 x 10, 000 cells/cm? using 0.05% trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO₂; 37℃. Recommend media change every 2-3 days
