This product is a panel of three (3) genetically modified cell lines involving the NY-ESO-1 gene. The panel consists of a NY-ESO-1 knockout cell line (NY-ESO-1^-/-) as well as a NY-ESO-1^lowand a NY-ESO-1^highexpression cell line. The NY-ESO-1^-/-cell line was generated using CompoZr^?Zinc Finger Nuclease technology, and the two NY-ESO-1 expression cell lines were generated using MISSION^?lentivirus. The NY-ESO-1^lowand NY-ESO-1^highcell lines express NY-ESO-1 at low and high levels relative to the NY-ESO-1^-/-cell line (NY-ESO-1^high> NY-ESO-1^low> NY-ESO-1^-/-) as measured via fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS). As a comparison, wild type A375 cells demonstrate NY-ESO-1^mediumexpression as measured via FACS.
The STR profile of these cell lines match that of its parental cell line - ECACC catalog number 88113005.

Derived from a 54 year old female with malignant melanoma. The cell line produces rapidly growing amelanotic melanomas in anti-thymocyte serum treated NIH Swiss mice.
