Weather-proof roller operates on benchtop, in dry or humid incubators, in cold rooms to 0℃, and even in ovens to 65℃. Use for cell culture with standard roller bottles and in filter blot applications with hybridization bottles (below). Unit is supplied with six gear-driven rollers, to rotate three large bottles at variable speed, 0.25?8 rpm. Rollers can be moved closer together to accommodate small bottles and tubes, and up to five more rollers can be added; as many as thirty 10 × 75 mm tubes can be turned at 2?67 rpm. Unit is powered by a cool-running 24 VDC motor. Thin, flat AC power cord (US only) reaches external outlet without damaging incubator or refrigerator gasket.
