生物活性

Teprotumumab is anIGF-1 receptor (IGF-1R)blocking human monoclonal antibody. Teprotumumab binds to the ligand binding extracellular α-subunit domain ofIGF-1R. Teprotumumab inhibitsTSHand IGF-1 action in fibrocytes. Teprotumumab attenuates TSH-dependentIL-6andIL-8expression andAktphosphorylation. Teprotumumab can be used for thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy research[1].
体外研究
(In Vitro)

Teprotumumab (0-500 μg/mL, 12 h) attenuates the actions of both IGF-1 and TSH in fibrocytes. IGF-1R and TSHR mRNA abundance is unaffected by Teprotumumab after 24 hours[1].
