Danegaptide has no effect on heart rate, arterial blood pressure or other electrocardiogram (ECG) parameters. Danegaptide is an effective antiarrhythmic compound in the setting of ischaemia/reperfusion-induced arrhythmogenesis in barbiturate-anesthetized, open-chest beagles^[2].
