Etanercept 是一种结合肿瘤坏死因子 (TNF) 的二聚体融合蛋白，作为 TNF抑制剂。Etanercept 竞争性地抑制 TNF-α 和 TNF-β 与细胞表面 TNF 受体的结合，使肿瘤坏死因子在生物学上失去活性。Etanercept 对风湿性关节炎、幼年特发性关节炎和斑块性银屑病有效。
生物活性

Etanercept, a dimeric fusion protein that binds TNF, acts as aTNFinhibitor. Etanercept competitively inhibits the binding of both TNF-α andTNF-βto cell surface TNF receptors, rendering TNF biologically inactive. Etanercept shows efficacy against rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, and plaque psoriasis[1][2][3].

(In Vivo)

Etanercept (10 mg/kg; s.c.; every 3 days for 3 weeks) significantly decreases the mean arthritis scores and radiological score[4].

Animal Model: Six-week-old male Lewis rats (adjuvant-induced arthritis (AIA) model)[4]
Dosage: 10 mg/kg
Administration: S.c.; every 3 days for 3 weeks
Result: Significantly decreased the mean arthritis scores; Significant decreased in radiological score at the end of the treatment period.
