Aurofusarin is a naturally occurring dimeric naphthoquinone and a mycotoxin. As a newly described Fusarium graminearum mycotoxin, it has oxidative stress and protective effect of MycosorbTM. Aurofusarin, a dimeric naphthoquinone metabolite of Fusarium graminearum was first described in 1968, but it is only recently that it has been identified in feed ingredients in Ukraine, in particular in contaminated grains, and characterised as a new crop pollutant.
