Randialic acid A (Pomolic acid) inhibits tumor cells growth and induces cell apoptosis. Randialic acid A (Pomolic acid) has a potential for the treatment of prostate cancer (PC)[2]. Randialic acid A (Pomolic acid) induces apoptosis of GBM cells as demonstrated by DNA fragmentation. Pomolic acid-induced apoptosis is dependent on reactive oxygen species (ROS) production.
