Flestolol sulfate is an anti-adrenergic beta-receptor that produces several hemodynamic changes. These changes include a reduction in heart rate, rate pressure product, and increase in peripheral vascular resistance, as well as decrease in myocardial contractility. It is fast-acting with a short half-life. References: Strom J, Josephson M, Frishman WH, Singh B, Heilbrunn S, Osterle S, Turlapaty P, Viray R, Coe J, Bell V, et al.
