Description:Dopamine (also known as 3-Hydroxytyramine, ASL-279 and Intropin) is a endogenous catecholamine neurotransmitter present in a wide variety of animals, it is a dopamine D1-5 receptors agonist. Dopamine HCl is a major catecholamine neurotransmitter derived from the amino acid tyrosine and serves as the precursor to norepinephrine and epinephrine. Dopamine activates a variety of dopamine receptors and is known to increase heart rate.
