该细胞系是用仙台病毒将SP１/0骨髓瘤细胞自身融合而成的细胞系。 这株细胞能抗8-氮杂鸟嘌呤，不产生免疫球蛋白。 通常用作Ｂ细胞杂交瘤的融合对象。 检测表明肢骨发育畸形病毒(鼠痘)阴性。此细胞半悬浮生长。
