注意： 据报道来自不同个体的胶质母细胞瘤细胞株U-118 MG 和 U-138 MG (HTB-16)有一致的VNTR和相近的STR模式。
U-118 MG 和 U-138 MG细胞遗传学上很相似并有至少六个衍生标记染色体。
