应用
Europium(III) chloride is used as a starting material for the preparation of other europium salts. It is also used in preparation of europium(II)chloride by reduction in a gold boat using hydrogen gas. Further, it is also used to prepare organometallic compounds of europium.

Moisture sensitive and hygroscopic. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents, strong reducing agents, strong bases and powdered metals.
