应用
Gadolinium is use in neutron radiography and in shielding of nuclear reactors. Used in nuclear marine propulsion systems, used for decarboxylation of oxaloacetic acid, convertion of orto- to para-hydrogen and polymerization of ethylene. It is also used for making gadolinium yttrium, fabrication, color TV tubes, compact discs and computer memory.

Store in cool, dry place in tightly closed containers. Store under inter dry gas. Store away form oxidizing agent.
